2. This site does not collect your data
This is a static documentation site. It has no accounts, no forms, no comments and no newsletter. We do not ask you for any personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
No cookies of any kind are used, and nothing is written to your browser’s
storage: no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no tracking pixels and no
fingerprinting. There is no analytics and no advertising. Because nothing is stored on your device,
the consent required by Art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) does not apply and no cookie
banner is shown.
3. What is processed anyway
| Processing | Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Server logs | IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent | Serving the pages, keeping the site secure and preventing abuse | Legitimate interest in operating a secure site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) | As defined by the hosting provider |
These records are generated automatically by the web server whenever any website is visited. They are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you across sites.
4. If you contact us
Support requests are handled on the company website. If you write to us by email, through the Pihasa contact page or by telephone, we process the data you provide in order to answer you, on the basis of your consent and, where you are a customer, the performance of a contract (Arts. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR). We keep it for as long as needed to resolve the request and afterwards for the period required to defend against possible claims. That processing is governed by the privacy policy of the company website.
5. Minors
This site is aimed at engineering professionals. We do not knowingly process data of people under 14 years of age.
6. Who receives your data
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. The only parties that may process data in connection with this site are:
- Our web hosting and CDN provider, acting as a processor under a contract that complies with Art. 28 GDPR.
- Google LLC, when your browser loads the web fonts used on this site. No cookie is set by that request, but your IP address and browser data are transmitted in order to deliver the font files. This is the only third-party request the site makes, and it can be removed entirely by self-hosting the fonts.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
7. International transfers
We prioritise providers hosting data inside the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures. You can request a copy of the safeguards in place using the contact details in section 1.
8. Your rights
You may exercise, free of charge, the following rights:
- Access – obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it.
- Rectification – correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure – have your data deleted when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction – limit how we process your data in certain cases.
- Objection – object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability – receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise them, write to pihasa@pihasa.com or to the postal address in section 1, stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a document proving your identity. We will reply within one month.
If you consider your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access control and data minimisation. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the supervisory authority of any breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, as required by Arts. 33 and 34 GDPR.
10. Links to external sites
The knowledge base links to third-party sites, including the Pihasa company website and software vendors referenced in the articles. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their own policies.
